Vici Sofianna Putera is the Head of the Research Division at Tumbuh Institute. He is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Islam Bandung. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Sunan Gunung Djati State Islamic University and his master’s degree in Applied Psychology, specializing in Social Intervention, from Universitas Indonesia.

His research and intervention interests focus on applied social psychology, including intergroup relations, the psychology of terrorism, political psychology, community psychology, identity fusion, and other areas of psychology related to intergroup and intragroup relations.

He is also actively involved as a consultant in monitoring and evaluating intervention programs conducted by NGOs, particularly those addressing the prevention and countering of violent extremism in Indonesia. He believes that good research should be applicable to real-life situations and contribute to meaningful, positive changes in people’s lives.
