Rocky is a philosopher and political observer who is critical of the social and political dynamics that occur in Indonesia. He graduated from the Philosophy Department of the Faculty of Arts, University of Indonesia, and has also taught for 15 years at the University of Indonesia.

DEPUTY OF CHIEF OF EXECUTIVES

Robet is a sociologist and human rights activist in Indonesia. Robet is currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Social Sciences (FIS) of Universitas Negeri Jakarta, a Visiting Researcher at Melbourne University and has published various books and articles.

Robet is also the founder of several civil society organizations such as the Democracy Education Association (P2D), Imparsial and Amnesty International Indonesia.

Luthfi graduated from the Department of Political Science, FISIP University of Indonesia in 2017. He is one of the graduates of the ATLAS Leadership Academy held in Kathmandu in 2015. He also received the Asia Start-Up Think Tank Leader certification from the Center of Civil Society based in New Delhi, India in the same year.

Head of Research

Vici Sofianna Putera is the Head of Research Division of Tumbuh Institute. In addition, she is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology, Bandung Islamic University. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Sunan Gunung Djati State Islamic University and her master’s degree in Applied Psychology in Social Intervention at the University of Indonesia.

His research and interventions focus on applied social psychology, such as intergroup relations, psychology of terrorism, political psychology, community psychology, identity fusion, and other areas of psychology related to inter/intra group relations.

He is also active as a consultant in the field of monitoring and evaluation of intervention programs carried out by NGOs on the issue of preventing and overcoming violent extremism, especially in Indonesia. His view on research is that good research is research that can be applied in real-life situations and can also create better life changes.

Azairus Adlu

Head of Public Relations

Azairus Adlu or simply called Doel is the Head of Public Relations Division at Tumbuh Institute. He has experience in journalism since 2009. Apart from being a journalist, Azairus also has experience as a media and communications consultant.

Adlu’s last position in journalism was Editor in Chief at RMOL Political News Agency.

Adlu is listed by the Press Council as a journalist who holds a First Class Journalist Professional Certificate (the highest) after successfully passing the First Class Journalist Competency Test organized by the Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) in 2017.

Huriyah is a permanent lecturer at the Department of Political Science, FISIP UI. She studied at the Department of Political Science UI (S1), University of Malaya (S2), and Sociology UI (S3). Huriyah’s main specializations are Democracy Studies, women’s political representation, ASEAN Integration, Politics in Southeast Asia, and Multiculturalism.

Dr. Ian Montratama is a lecturer in the International Relations Study Program at Pertamina University. His area of expertise is in strategic studies, especially defense studies.

Ian has taught at the Indonesian Defense University and has currently written eleven social science reference books such as Introduction to Security Studies, Indonesia Inc, Indonesian Right Terrorism, Air Shield, and so on.
